What’s a rebranding launch without drama? To reveal the new Yessian identity to the music industry, Ethic used a two-part ad. The teaser ad ran with just a note on the musical staff with the words, “Take Note.” The second ad ran the following week with the new logo in place of the note and the headline, “Take note of our new composition.”

A longtime head of visual merchandising at a prominent department store wanted to strike out on his own to provide brand consulting in the retail space. He wanted his brand to exude professionalism and style, which led us to combine this luxurious dark purple with an elegant typeface.
